Yesterday was at the Workers' Party Punggol East SMC Rally and it was raining prior to that. WP's candidate was Ms Lee Li Lian and it was the only contested area with 3 cornered fight, with PAP and SDA respectively. When I reached the rally site, it was still drizzling and I tried to enter the rally site.
My! The field was soaked with rain water and mud! However, it does not deter the people from standing and coming onto the wet grass to listen. I was asking myself, why do people despite such uncomfortable situation still step upon the wet field and mud to listen to Workers' Party?
IMO, its come from deep inside the people's heart to make them and myself to go despite the situation and PAP had not been listening to the people's hearts for a long time............
WP Sec-Gen Mr Low one of the speakers was addressing crowd about the false accusation by PAP about him mis-managing the Hougang TC funds. He challenged PAP to report him to the CPIB.
The sea of umbrellas crowding the stage despite the rain and drizzles.
