The much hype about MG (NS) Chan seem to have gone down with the SDA team nomination being thrown out by the Election department. Of course, he can't have a clear mandate from the people under the GRC to say officially that he was being ELECTED by the people.
Imagine in future where Mr Chan was introduced: "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Mr Chan Chun Sing, ELECTED or WALKOVER? MP of Tanjong Pagar GRC!"
To use the word ELECTED is a mockery of the people in Tanjong Pagar......
