IMO, there are not 2 MPs in the Cabinet Minister Pay scale without portfolios (World best Minister w/o portforlio Lim Boon Heng and Lim Swee Sway) In fact there are 4 of them and except SM Jayakumar who is holding the Co-ordinating Minister for National Security job. It used to be held by Mr Tony Tan who was DPM then. SM Jayakumar is working harder for his salary

Mr Lim Boon Heng S$1,593,500 (S$1.5m) aka Long term lobo minister.

Mrs LIM Hwee Hua S$1,593,500 (S$1.5m) She earn her pay as she held 2 posts.

I excluded SM Jayakumar and the total income is approx S$9 millions!
I am not saying they doing nothing and get such high salary but should have proper titles describing their role and responsibilities given to be worthy of their pay.
For example, Mr Lim Boon Heng's title is "Minister Prime Minister's office"; so is he a "lobo" in PMO? Or Dy Prime Minister? Scratching head really.....

Maybe we can ask one of them, especially the oldest one, why do you still need a S$3 million salary a year when almost everything (I think) is paid for ?

Have you ever spare a thought for the poor old lady of your similar age who still have to scavenge for discarded bins and cardboard ?
You forgot about another Minister without Portfolio, first full female Minister Mrs Lim Hwee Hua. She is also the second minister for Finance and Transport.

Perhaps we should look at your figure in proper context. It is not too right to see it as S$9 million, it is in fact S$9 x 5 year term totaling to S$45 million once they are confirmed as MP after being elected or won on the basis of a walkover.

The old men (above 55) are drawing pensions. And we still have to pay them millions for doing next to nothing.
