Flood at Lavender Street, Source: Yahoo Fit to Post
Today flooding at Singapore after a heavy rain morning down pour is becoming part of "normal" living in Singapore. Just liked deaf PAP ministers and Astronomical Minister Salaries. A Freak Flood that will happen in another 50 years is again happening yet again!
In the Yahoo news Fit to Post, the last 2 paragraph sum up what the general feeling about freakishness about flood :)
"Last year, Minister for Environment and Water Resources Yaacob Ibrahim described the flash foods at Bukit Timah as a “freak” event that happened “only once in 50 years”.
We’ve now had two in barely over a week."
At the Yahoo news Fit to Post, 1 guy's comment was very funny and I posted what "Old Guy" had to say about today's flooding:

You know WHY singapore now got a lot of floods?? Because we are FLOODED by THIRD WORLD country people in singapore And FLOODS ALWAYS occur in third world countries.. Since we have SO MANY third world country people here..
Singapore has BECOME third world country already AND SO floods which OFTEN OCCUR in third world countries WILL COME to singapore because those third world country people think they have ESCAPED from the FLOODING in their countries by coming to singapore..
BUT ALAS !! the FLOODS chase them till here in Singapore AND we Singaporeans therefore HAVE to SUFFER the SAME FATE of FLOODING in our tiny island because these third world people bring the BAD LUCK of flooding here..!! Believe it or not ??
I always believed that the Marina Barrage is to be blamed for all these flooding because the natural outlet in Singapore is blocked by a visionary's vision. In my old post regarding Singapore River, I wrote that it was a "feng sui" Stance by some gov-linked soot-sayer or Feng Sui Master to block the wealth and people from flowing out of Singapore.

I came across this interesting blog while trying to search a picture of Singapore $1 Coin to post here to show the similarity between our $1 coin and the Chinese "Ba Gua". The blog "swankymusings" blogged about the Singapore urban legends or facts about the Feng Sui related to the $1 coin and the "smiling face" in the $1 coin.
Really interesting!
