Ease of PR Application = Increased Competition for Singaporeans

I read with interest of an article of an article in the www.temasekreview.com where Singapore PR Zhang Yuanyuan returned to China despite getting the "coverted" Singapore PR Blue IC, in 2 months. (Can't verify the claim because info from Temasekreview.com)

However, there is truth in this claim where the PAP Government's immigration policy deliberated placed Singaporeans in direct competitions, expecially from students from ASEAN and China.

This is such Letter of Invitation to be Singapore PR which the PAP Government have done behind my back where:

Found a Job = a Brand New Singapore Blue IC!

A temporary Employment Pass will be issued to enable you to start work pending the approval of your application.

4 To facilitate your job seeking, you may wish to show this letter to your potential employer as it is an indication of your eligibility to apply for permanent residence. As a permanent resident, you would be able to stay and work in Singapore.

6 Kindly ignore this letter if you have already submitted to us a permanent residence application for assessment.

Of course, this is an invitation to a university final student from NTU and is different from Zhang Yuanyuan who came with a diploma from China. However, this talent will be competing with the rest of Singaporeans Student for jobs.... When PAP will understand?

  1. I think not any more.. ICA stopped issuing invitation letters since middle of 2009. Now students need to get a job and apply (Still they can get it easily)
